Gather’s Group Net Metering Subcriber Agreement is simple
Through Group Net Metering, solar projects or “Group Hosts” share the proceeds from surplus electricity generation from solar projects with companies or individuals called “Group Members” which are located within the same distribution utility. Group Members sign a Subscriber Agreement to allocate a portion of their electricity demand to a local project. Group Hosts are paid directly by the distribution utility and provide a rebate to the Group Members, saving them money on electricity. There is no requirement to host solar facilities onsite, eliminating concerns about rooftop suitability and tying up valuable land. Through a Gather Solar Subscriber Agreement there is no cost and signing up for the rebate does not affect how companies choose to purchase electricity from distribution utilities or competitive suppliers.
